Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a 23-year-old male in connection to a serious assault near the Air Canada Window Park on Portage Avenue.
Police say that around 10:30 am on Friday May 21, 2021, Cadets were patrolling in the area when they were flagged down.
The cadets located a severely injured male and began emergency first aid while awaiting emergency medical services to arrive. The victim was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police located a male suspect nearby and took him into custody.
Aaron David Woodhouse, 23 has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon and two counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order.
Police continue to investigate.
