RCMP have recovered the body of a 21-year-old male found in Turnbull Lake near Leaf Rapids.

Officers from Leaf Rapids were called to the scene around 4:15 pm on Friday June 21, 2019.

Police are investigating the death and are currently waiting for results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Leaf Rapids is about 970 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
