Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit is looking for help in identifying two persons of interest in connection to the August 7th serious assault on a 76-year-old woman.
As News 4 previously told you the woman was brutally assaulted while out for an early morning walk in the 200 block of Pacific Avenue. Shortly after the first assault and while the victim was still on the ground the suspects returned and assaulted her again.
Police said at the time that the woman spent about two and a half hours on the ground before someone in the area called for help.
Investigators are looking for information that can help identify two persons of interest a male and a female who were also in the area at the time of the assault.
