Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes investigators are looking into a stabbing on a Winnipeg Transit bus on Saturday night, April 6, 2024.

According to police the victim in his 20s was confronted on the bus by two individuals and was injured. The victim exited the bus and was located by responding officers near William Avenue and Lark Street. The victim was being given medical aid from a bystander when police arrived. The officers took over the care of the victim and continued to provide medical care until paramedics arrived and transported him to hospital.
