Winnipeg Police have arrested a 27-year-old male in connection to the homicide of 35-year-old Stuart Bruce Fritzley on May 25, 2021.
Fritzley located by police around 6:00 am in the 800 block of Magnus Avenue and was taken to hospital in critical condition. He later died from his injuries.
Investigators travelled to Calgary on Monday, December 20, 2021, and arrested the suspect. He was being held in the Calgary Remand Centre at the time of his arrest on unrelated offences.
Police say Thomas Alexander Anderson of Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder. According to police Anderson and the victim knew each other and were together on Magnus Avenue when the victim was stabbed.
Investigators are still looking to speak with a female in her 20s who they believe was in the area of the murder around the time it occurred
