Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit investigators are looking into the death of a male found inside a Magnus Avenue residence early on February 15, 2024.

According to police, officers were called to the residence in the 300 block around 2:40 a.m. for the report of several armed males inside the building.

As officers arrived three suspects were seen fleeing the residence and were taken into custody without incident. One of the suspects was in possession of a firearm at the time of his arrest.

Officers located a deceased adult male within a suite. His death is being treated as a homicide. An autopsy has been ordered.
