Dan the Magic Man (AKA Daniel Kamenicky) will be spending just under 3 and a half years in prison after he pleaded guilty earlier this year to making and possessing child pornography.

Police arrested Kamenicky in August 2016  after a number of photos and videos had been uploaded to a photo sharing site.

Besides working as a local children’s entertainer Kamenicky also worked as an educational assistant in Winnipeg.

Judge Sid Lerner gave Kamenicky five years in prison but also credited him time served so he will spend 40 months behind bars.
