Nasty looking crash on highway 5
Not much is left of a pickup truck and a car that collided near Carberry, about 170 kilometres west of Winnipeg, around 7 a.m. this morning.
Police say the pickup truck was northbound on Highway 5 when the driver attempted to cross the Trans-Canada, and collided with the westbound car. The 43-year-old male driver of the pickup truck was alone in his vehicle, and has been charged with failing to yield.
The car was occupied by just its 50-year-old male driver.
Both men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
