Beginning in May 2019 the Lotto Max jackpot will be allowed to grow up to $70 million and a second weekly draw will be added on Tuesdays.
On Friday, November 9, 2018, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) announced changes to Canada’s biggest lottery game that will begin with the first Tuesday draw on May 11, 2019.
WCLC says that the changes to the popular lottery came after extensive consultation with lottery players across the country.
Maxmillions will remain the same and will still be triggered once the Lotto Max jackpot reaches $50 million.
The price to play will remain at $5 for each selection of three sets of 7 numbers.
Tonights November 9, 2018 draw has a jackpot of $50 million plus six maxmillions draws of $1 million each.
