Winnipeg Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a lost magazine from a service weapon.
Sometime between December 28, 2017, and January 2, 2018, an officer lost the plastic magazine and 14 rounds of ammunition that it was loaded with.

Police say they are continuing to look for the magazine but are asking the public to turn it in if they locate it.
In January of 2017, a similar situation occurred when an officer lost an ammo clip with 15 rounds of ammunition in the 3400 block of Grant Avenue or in the north end of the city
If you have found a black plastic magazine or ammunition call police at 204-986-6222 or drop it off to any police station.
