Firefighters were called to a two-storey commercial building in the 400 block of Logan Avenue around 10:45 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021 for the report of a fire.

When crews arrived on the scene they saw smoke coming from the structure and launched an offensive attack. A nearby fire hydrant was frozen due to the extreme cold which hampered efforts. The fire was declared under control at 11:09 pm.
Firefighters searched the building and found no one inside. There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
