Little Grand Rapids RCMP investigating death of 24-year-old female 

RCMP say that on Saturday May 13, 2017 they received a report around 7:00 am that a female body had been found at construction site for the communities new water plant.

Upon arriving on scene officers confirmed that 24 year old Donnelly Rose Eaglestick had died after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs. Community members report that there were approximately 25 to 30 dogs in the group.

Police say that Eaglestick appears to have died during the attack.

RCMP from the Little Grand Rapids and the Forensic Identification Unit have determined that the death is a result of the attack and is not considered suspicious.

Family and friends took to social media posting messages of condolences.
