The Tyndall Market Liquor Mart has re-opened after a violent armed robbery last week sent one employee to the hospital.
New security measures are now in place that restricts entrance to the store to minors and requires valid ID for those over 18.
In a statement to media Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries says that the Tyndall Market store was the first to be outfitted with a controlled entrance but it is not the last.

Work had already started on the new security station inside the entranceway at the Tyndall Market store prior to the robbery on November 20, 2019.
Over the coming months, similar security measures will be rolled out to every Liquor Mart in Winnipeg.
The new measures require customers to show valid photo ID which will be scanned at the security station before entry into the store is permitted.
