Winnipeg Police have busted a 25-year-old woman after she robbed Liquor Marts 19 times over the summer. She also was involved in thefts from three retail stores.

The thefts at liquor stores took place between June 15 and August 27, 2018. Police say that the accused would enter a store, take several bottles the exit without paying.  Over the course of the repeated thefts, the woman made off with more than $3,700 worth of merchandise.

The thefts from retail stores happened on August 4, September 10 and again on September 17, 2018.

On at least two occasions, the woman was confronted by a store employee or security and threatened them by either producing or indicating she had a weapon.

On Monday, September 17, 2018, the woman attempted to steal about $200 worth of merchandise from a store on St. Mary’s Road when she was confronted by several security officers after she had left the building and placed under arrest.
