After closing all libraries in the City of Winnipeg at the end of October in response to COVID-19 public health orders the city will resume some services beginning December 7, 2020.
Libraries will be providing contactless holds pick-up and return services at 10 library branches while continuing to follow all provincial public health orders.
The branches that will provide the limited services are:
- Charleswood
- St. James
- River Heights
- Millennium
- St. Boniface
- Louis Riel
- Pembina Trail
- Transcona
- Henderson
- Sir William Stephenson
Hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Customers will not be able to enter the branches. Holds can be made using the library’s online catalogue or through their mobile app.
Customers will be asked to phone the library when they arrive to pick-up their holds. Staff and customers are required to wear a mask.
