RCMP are investigating a plane crash near Pilot Mound on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The aircraft was en route to Rock Lake and was being piloted by a 69-year-old female and had a 38-year-old female passenger onboard at the time of the crash.
According to RCMP the aircraft suffered an engine failure.
According to Transport Canada registry records the aircraft was registered as an amateur built aircraft that was made in 2010. The plane’s base of operation is listed as Lyncrest Airport near Winnipeg.
