A knife wielding female was taken into custody after she was seen near Main Street and Burrows Avenue threatening area bystanders with the weapon on Saturday morning, March 6, 2021.
Officers were called to the area around 6:20 am and were able to locate the suspect near Charles Street and Selkirk Avenue. Police were able to convince the woman to drop the knife and took her safely into custody.
The female from Winnipeg has been charged for her alleged involvement with Possession of a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order.
