Emergency crews were called to a collision on Kennedy Street at St Mary Avenue just after 11:30 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021.
When Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service arrived on the scene they found a severely damaged vehicle on the sidewalk. Witnesses tell News 4 that the vehicle had been traveling southbound when it was hit by a large SUV. They said two people got out of the SUV then got back in and drove northbound on Kennedy which is a one way street southbound.
The SUV was located with its occupants at the corner of Kennedy Street and Portage Avenue.
Firefighter paramedics assessed several people from the vehicle.
