As is tradition fans took to the intersection of Portage Avenue and Main Street to express their happiness by waving flags, screaming for joy and honking horns.

As fans on foot climbed onto the barricades surrounding the intersection hundreds of vehicles paraded through the area honking horns as riders shouted in excitement. Many of the vehicles sported Winnipeg Jets flags and brooms as they drove through the downtown area.
