Jamison Avenue fire under investigation

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a residential fire at the corner of Jamison Avenue and Brazier Street at 10:19 pm on Friday, November 5, 2021.

As crews arrived they encountered smoke coming from the two-storey structure and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control at 10:46 pm.

Although no one was inside the building crews did find a cat and brought it to safety. The cat was reunited with family shortly afterwards.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
