It’s Official 

Premier Brian Pallister and his cabinet was sworn in Tuesday Morning at the Canadian Human Rights Museum. Pallister is Manitoba’s 22nd Premier. His Cabinet members are:

Minister of Justice/Deputy Premier: Heather Stefanson

Minister of Health/House Leader: Kelvin Goertzen

Minister of Finance: Cameron Friesen

Minister of Education & Training: Ian Wishart

Minister of Families: Scott Fielding

Minister of Infrastructure: Blaine Pedersen

Minister of Indigenous & Municipal Relations: Eileen Clarke

Minister of Agriculture: Ralph Richler

Minister of Sport, Culture & Heritage/Status of Women: Rochelle Squires

Minister of Crown Services: Ron Schuler

Minister of Sustainable Development: Cathy Cox

Minister of Growth, Enterprise and Trade: Cliff Cullen

Noticeably absent in the cabinet is Steven Fletcher the former Conservative MP in Stephen Harper’s government.

The Premier and cabinet will now have to get down to work and prepare for the next sitting of the Legislature in a couple of weeks and a promised budget in the next month.
