Investigators Seek Public’s Help in Homicide Case

The Winnipeg Police Service responded to a tragic incident at a residence in the 1200 block of Selkirk Avenue at approximately 4:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 56-year-old Edgar Allan Bear, a member of the Peguis First Nation, who had been fatally shot.

The Homicide Unit swiftly took over the investigation, leading to the arrest of 27-year-old Maxim Dale Garneau on charges of 2nd Degree Murder.

WANTED: Breanne Joan Bruyere, 25 years old

Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Breanne Joan Bruyere, who is wanted for Manslaughter and Obstructing Justice. Bruyere is considered dangerous, and the police urge the public not to approach her.
