Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit released a surveillance video of a shooting that happened around 5:30 am on April 24, 2021, near College Avenue and Arlington Street.
Police say that two males in their 20s were inside a white SUV that was stopped when multiple gunshots were fired at the vehicle. Both males were hit and suffered serious gunshot wounds. One of the victims was treated and released but the other sustained severe life-altering injuries.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Police say that any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts before or after the shooting is considered valuable.
The suspect is a male in his late teens or early twenties with dark hair and a medium build. At the time of the shooting, he was seen wearing a light-coloured hoodie.
