Investigators looking into shooting of male victim

The Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that happened around 8:00 am on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Officers had responded to the report of the male victim being shot in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street. Police located the individual and administered first-aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable.

Investigators were able to locate the scene of the shooting near McKenzie Street. No arrests have been made.
