Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service are investigating a fire in a vacant Simcoe Street house on Saturday evening, March 20, 2021.
Crews were called to the scene minutes before 8:00 pm where they encountered smoke and flames coming from the structure. A defensive attack was launched due to the conditions inside the building. Eventually firefighters transitioned to fighting the fire offensively declaring it under control around 8:30 pm
A search of the house confirmed no one was inside. No Injuries were reported.
