Winnipeg Police Service homicide detectives have identified the male victim found inside a residence during a fire on Furby Street on June 17, 2023.
The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
An autopsy was performed and his death is being treated as a homicide.
Police say the victim is 33-year-old Johnathan Joseph Tait of Winnipeg.
