On the anniversary of his tragic death Winnipeg Police are still looking for driver of the truck that struck 21 year old Cody Joss.
It happened on December 19, 2014 around 6:45 pm. Police responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident at Inkster and McGregor involving a pedestrian. The vehicle fled before police arrived on scene and Joss, suffering critical injuries was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Investigators believe that Joss was crossing the intersection northbound when he was struck by a dark coloured pickup truck heading westbound on Inkster Boulevard.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark coloured pickup truck. Witness information suggests that a second vehicle was seen travelling in the same direction as the suspect vehicle soon after Joss was hit. The people in this vehicle may have more information regarding the collision or the pickup truck.
