The two inmates who walked away from the minimum security unit at Stony Mountain Institution just north of Winnipeg have been recaptured.

Early today, February 27, 2018, both men were spotted in the Osborne area of the city.
Winnipeg Police located the two men and placed them under arrest without incident.
William Hunter-Garrioch and Dale Gilchrist will face charges of Being Unlawfully at Large and returned to Stony Mountain Institution.
