A 31-year-old female is facing Manslaughter charges after a newborn infant was found in a garbage bin in the 400 block of Boyd Avenue on May 3, 2022.
According to police, officers located the deceased infant girl in a back lane garbage bin. Investigators identified an adult female who had given birth to the baby and she was arrested at a nearby residence.
Police say the baby was born at a home in the Garden City neighbourhood and placed in the garbage bin while she was still alive.
Jeanene Rosa Moar has been charged for her alleged involvement with Manslaughter and Conceal Body of a Child.
She is currently in custody.
