RCMP received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on the perimeter near Dugald Road. As officers were responding they learned that the vehicle had collided with another vehicle.
Police say the driver was operating her vehicle in a dangerous manner on Wenzel Street and she made her way to the perimeter. She continued to drive erratically on the highway and collided with another vehicle after she failed to stop at a red light at Dougald Road.

A 44-year-old woman from the vehicle that was struck was taken to hospital in critical condition. The 26-year-old erratic driver was also seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Police say that no one else was in the vehicles.
Investigators believe that the 26-year-old female was impaired while she was driving and that that played a pivotal role in the collision.
Although no charges have been laid yet police say they are pending against the 26-year-old.
