IIU looking for video of incident
Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) is looking for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting of a 25 year old man by a Winnipeg Police officer on Monday May 1, 2017.
The shooting occurred over the lunch hour in the skywalk at 266 Graham Avenue.
IIU has taken over the investigation of the incident because a suspect was shot by police. The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
