The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) is looking to speak to witnesses about the April 8, 2020, officer-involved shooting of a 16-year-old female.
The incident happened on Lagimodiere Boulevard near Fermor Avenue.
Investigators say that they believe that the occupants of a 2013-2019 silver Ford Escape that was stopped in the eastbound lanes of Fermor Avenue witnessed the incident.
The IIU is hoping to speak to the people who were in the SUV and are asking anyone who may be able to help identify them or any witnesses who can provide more information about the incident to call 1-844-667-6060.
