IIU investigation leads to charges against a Winnipeg Police Service officer

A Winnipeg Police Service officer is facing three charges of Drive Dangerous Causing Bodily Harm following an investigation by the Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) of Manitoba.

The investigation stemmed from a collision at Aberdeen Avenue and Salter Street involving a Winnipeg Police vehicle and a minivan in July 2019 that injured six people.
