The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) is investigating allegations of sexual assault against a minor by an off-duty RCMP officer.
RCMP reported the July 1, 2020, incident to the IIU after a complaint was filed on July 23, 2020, at an RCMP detachment.

Except to say the investigation is moving forward because it is in the public interest to do so the IIU is not releasing any other information about the incident.,
