IIU investigating police involved collision

Manitoba’s police watchdog agency, The Independent Investigation Unit (IIU), has decided to investigate the police involved crash that sent six people to hospital on Saturday evening, July 13, 2019.

The IIU says that Winnipeg Police informed them of the collision on Monday July 15, 2019 and that at the time of the crash a police vehicle had been travelling westbound at a high rate of speed.
