The provincial body in charge of investigating serious police incidents is looking into a case where a man police transported from the Victoria Hospital to the Main Street Project went south.
The event happened on February 27, 2023. Around 4:30 that morning, police were called to the Victoria Hospital to deal with a man who appeared to be intoxicated.
They took him to Main Street Project but when they got there the man was unresponsive.
An ambulance was called and the man was transported to HSC, where he remains in intensive care.
