RCMP say that icy conditions are a factor in the collision that took the lives of a 29-year-old man and his 1-year-old son.
On January 25, 2024, around 7:00 a.m., a vehicle travelling southbound on Highway 6 crossed the centre line into oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck.
Both the driver and infant passenger of the southbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 74-year-old driver go the semi was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
