No power and no airconditioning have thousands of Winnipeggers feeling the heat as the temperature outside rises to record levels.
Manitoba Hydro says that two outages affecting more than 4,000 customers occurred on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Just before 1:00 pm 3,400 customers in the Westdale area of the city lost power.

An hour later the power went out south of Bishop Grandin Boulevard between Pembina Highway and Kenaston Boulevard.
The Westdale outage was expected to be restored by 2:30 pm but hydro does not have an estimate when power will be restored in the south end.
