Friday night around 9:15 pm, August 7, 2020, police were called to the 600 block of Henderson Highway after partial human remains were located on the bank of the Red River.
The identity, age or how long the remains had been on the riverbank are unknown at this time.
The Forensic Identification Unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating.
