RCMP are investigating after human remains were found along the shore of the Winnipeg River.
Officials cordoned off the area off of Highway 11 on Sagkeeng First Nation after the remains were discovered on Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2021.
Police have brought in a forensic anthropologist to help with the investigation.
RCMP say they will provide an update on the case as more information becomes available.
