RCMP say that on December 21, 2021, officers responded to a report of human remains being found at an Oakville, Manitoba residence.
Police secured the scene after confirming that the remains are not historic in nature. Major Crime Services has taken over the investigation.
RCMP say that they will release more information when it becomes available but at this point the investigation is still in the early stages.
