Winnipeg Police Service homicide detectives are investigating after human remains were found on Thursday evening, March 4, 2021.
Police were called to the area of Main Street and Alfred Avenue just before 6:00 pm. When officers arrived they confirmed the remains belonged to a deceased individual.
Investigators say the age and identity of the deceased is not known at this time.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
