RCMP say that officers from the Stonewall detachment responded to a report that human remains had been located in the RM of Woodlands near Road 79 North.
The identity of the remains are unknown at this time but RCMP Forensic Identification Services and an anthropology team are on site conducting a search of the area.
The Major Crime Services unit along with investigators from Stonewall RCMP continue to investigate.
