A two-story home in the 600 block of Herbert Avenue suffered major structural damage to the attic due to an early morning fire on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Emergency crews were called to the home around 3:16 am and encountered smoke coming from the structure when they arrived on the scene. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 4:55 am.
One person was in the home at the time of the fire and was able to get out before firefighters arrived.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
