A 74-year-old female is dead after a house fire in Meleb, Manitoba. Meleb is about 100 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
RCMP say they received a report of the fire around 2:45 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
When officers arrived on scene the building was fully involved.
The victim, who owned the residence, was located by firefighters after the blaze was out. The senior was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators from the Office of the Fire Commissioner and RCMP continue to investigate.
