Winnipeg firefighters were called to a home on Bowman Avenue after they received reports of smoke just after 11:30 pm on January 7, 2019
By the time crews arrived the people in the home had got out. Paramedics checked out two adults and a child for smoke inhalation on
Fire crews found a working fire and began to fight it inside the structure however heavy fire in the attic area forced them out and they had to attack the blaze from the exterior. The fire was under control shortly after 1:00 am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
