If you like extreme heat then this week will make you happy… if you don’t, time to crank up the AC for another round of hot temperatures.
On Monday, August 6, 2018, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement saying that an upper-level ridge over the Prairies this week will spread very warm temperatures into southern Manitoba.
Beginning on Tuesday and stretching into the weekend daytime highs above 30c are expected. Nighttime lows are also expected to remain above 15c.
Although heat warnings have not been issued yet it is likely they will be issued as the temperatures increase.
