Winnipeg Police have identified a homicide victim who was taken to hospital after being found around 6:45 am on Sunday, October 2, 2022, near Cumberland Avenue and Sherbrook Street.
The man died in hospital and police were contacted after medical professionals felt his injuries were suspicious.
Police determined that the death was a homicide.
Investigators have identified the victim as 27-year-old Creedence Justin Beardy.
