As News4 told you yesterday – On October 6, 2016 round 3:00 am, police responded to the 300 block of Springfield Road about a serious assault.
They found a seriously injured 23 year old man who had been apparently stabbed. He was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Scott Tates a Winnipeg resident.
Police have identified and arrested Christopher Blair McDougall, 28 from Winnipeg for his alleged involvement in the stabbing. He has been charged with Murder in the second degree and assault cause bodily harm.
McDougall has been remanded into custody.
