RCMP have arrested a 30-year-old male in connection to the death of a 29-year-old male at a York Factory First Nation residence on March 26, 2022.

Police say the victim was assaulted at the home during a social gathering. He was taken to the local nursing station where he was pronounced dead.

Trevor Saunders from York Landing has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter for his alleged involvement. He remains detained in custody.

RCMP contine to investigate.
